According to the latest annual report, the number of admissions to the Philadelphia Children's Hospital was 31,262. There were 7,568 inpatients and 18,369 outpatient operations. The number of patients in the emergency room was 88,212. Philadelphia Children's Hospital is also a medical education hospital.
